Ryu Vs Ken: Impressive Street Fighter Stop Motion Animation Made With Action Figures

This is a stop-motion animation of a friendly battle between Ryu and Ken complete with special AND sound effects . What a minute — friendly battle? There’s no such thing as a friendly battle! IT IS IS KILL OR BE KILLED. Or, okay, run and hide, but that’s generally frowned upon. In this video I try to make the fight back to original and not to use too much special effets, hope you guys like it, this took me around 1 month for the proccesing, and yeap I am already working with Halo and the next one will come first with the hot girl gun fight, wish you guys enjoy the show…Thanks :D Not even sure why I bothered copy/pasting that. The only thing you need to know is it’s a worthwhile video of Ryu and Ken action figures duking it out — or, should I say, hadouken it out? ZING ZING ZING ZING — I’M F***ING RETIRING NOW. Hit the jump for the good lookin’. No not me silly, I’m hideous!

Now With More Special Effects: Staged Cosplay Fighting At Anime North Convention

Video editor Yung Lee went to the Anime North convention in Toronto and convinced a bunch of the cosplayers there to mock-battle him. Then he added some special effects (mostly a shit-ton of lens flare) and called it ‘Epic Anime Time’. This is that video. Personally, I would’ve gotten drunk and actually fought all the cosplayers , but what do I know? I’m just a man who believes you don’t need special effects when you’ve got raw talent a pint of bourbon in your stomach and are convinced a group of pocket monsters just called you Whiskeydick. OH ISH ON NOW, PROKEYMONS! Hit the jump for the video.

The Force For Recreational: Jedi Badminton

This is a 30-second video of four dudes playing shuffleboard badminton with lightsabers special-effected in over their racquets. It would have been cooler if the editor had turned the shuttlecock into one of those lightsaber training balls like Luke uses on the Millennium Falcon , but it’s obvious somebody wasn’t thinking. “Her-her, did he just say turn a shuttlecock into balls?” I did, and I’m going to turn yours into a f***ing lizard if you don’t start acting your age. Hit the jump and get your recreational Force on.

BOOM, RED SHELLED! More Mario Kart IRL

This is Freddie Wong’s take on Mario Kart in real life. It’s different from Remi Gallard’s versions because, instead of relying on being a jackass, Freddie relies on computer effects . Me? I rely on side effects. ‘Don’t Mix With Alcohol’ my ass — it’s the only way daddy gets drunk anymore! “GW, those are prenatal vitamins.” Haha, I have been pissing a lot of iron lately. Also, pumpin’ it . Roid rage — ROID RAGE! *dry-humps a Bowflex into a pile of dust* Hit the jump for the short but worthwhile video.

In A World With No Metal: Cardboard Warfare

This is a 3:30 war movie made entirely with cardboard weaponry . It’s incredibly well made though. Granted not as good as Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers , but if you expected it to be you obviously have zero grasp on reality. This video took about a month and a half of planning, making cardboard guns, filming, and editing. Really COol! Make this video, you will need: - 254 program crashes - 427 manual frames to rotoscope - 59 layers of sound effects - a BUTTLOAD of cardboard and box cutters - and a katamari That’s, uh….that’s a lot of program crashes. Maybe you should, oh I don’t know, CONSIDER SWITCHING TO A MAC. Kidding, don’t do that. Or should you? Let the flamin’ begin! Hit it for the action-packed video.
