Typing Time: ‘Click Keypad’ Computer Watches

This is the $90 Click Keypad watch. It was made to look like the number pad of a computer keyboard and tells the time by blinking the corresponding numbers in order. Plus you can actually click the keys if you want to pretend like you’re hacking an ATM or something to impress a date. *mashing watch buttons* Just watch, any second this thing’s gonna start spitting out free money! “Nice try — I saw you enter your card and PIN number right when we walked up.” It says insufficient funds — spot me for dinner? This Manuscript Is Illegible!: Typewriter Art

British artist Keira Rathbone uses a typewriter to ‘type’ pictures with the letters , numbers and symbols available. There are a couple closeups of this particular piece after the jump, which are definitely worth checking out. Pretty awesome, right? Now I know what you’re thinking, and no, you could not do better. You really need to start being more realistic about your abilities. Just sayin’, some people are good at everything, some people are good at some things, and then there’s you. Then me. :/ Hit the jump for several more of the impressiveness, along with a shot of the artist at work.

Use The Fonts, Luke: Star Wars Typography

Alternatively, “Luke, I am your fonter.” God I hate myself for that . And, well, pretty much everything else I’ve ever done. Anyway, because some Geekologie Readers have to go home and give themselves glitterstim enemas if I don’t meet their daily quota of Star Wars posts, here’s a small gallery (read: three pictures) of characters created entirely out of different fonts by Italian ad firm H-57 Creative Station. This is Darth Maul or somebody here, but there’s a Cylon and a Fraggle after the jump. Huh? ARE YOU QUESTIONING MY GEEK CREDENTIALS?! Fine — fine, this is Darth Vader , and there’s a Stormtrooper and Yoda after the jump. What isn’t after the jump is the X-Wingding Fighter I just spent two hours making in Photoshop. I’ll email you a copy for $1 though. Ass Xerox for $2. Hit the jump for the other two.

Give It To Me Straight, How Many To Keep The Doctor Away?: Apple By The Numbers

Note: This is only a small, unreadable portion of the infographic, click HERE to see the whole thing in stunning 3-D. Fine, FINE — 2-D . This is an infographic all about Apple . I thought it was pretty interesting. And by pretty interesting I mean I would have been just as excited if it were about the fruit. Mmmm, love those things with a little peanut butter . Pears too! Anyway, I didn’t even have to look at the financials (and I probably never will) to know I want a piece of that. A piece of that pie . That Apple pie. See what I did there? “Shamed yourself?” Exactly. Apple By Numbers [techi] Thanks to Brettmucker, who knows four apples a day will not only keep the doctor away, they’ll help attract horses.
