Because 900-year old Jedi masters can’t survive on Dagobah swamp stew and dragonlizard dicks alone, here’s Yoda in a Japanese advertisement for Nissin Cup Noodles . I’m not really sure what the relationship between Yoda and ramen is supposed to be, but my guess is a sexual one . You suck ass, George! Hit the jump for the great, now I’m hungry.

There comes a time in every young man’s life when he receives his first soldering iron . To me, that day feels like it was just yesterday. “That was yesterday — you f***ing stole it out of my toolbox .” Haha — finders keepers! About 1983, when I was fifteen, I dropped my dad’s red Bakelite soldering gun and broke the casing. Of course he was upset, so I did my best to “fix it.” So I took my original Star Wars Han Solo pistol and gutted it to hold the soldering gun components. I even ran the lightbulb up into the scope on top. The button on the handle worked well for the trigger switch. Ten years later, when the old house was sold, the gun wound up in my belongings. To this day, when an underpowered iron just won’t do, I pull out the “Han Solderer” and get the job done. Half of me likes the mod, the other half is ill over the fact that I gutted my vintage Star Wars toy. What’s done is done. Sure you gutted your vintage Star Wars toy, but you made it even better . Just like I did with this gutted deer carcass. See? Before it was just a deer. But now — now it’s a gutted deer carcass sleeping bag . Tauntaun tie-in? I think so! A picture of what the original 1977 Blaster toy looked like before modification after the jump.

This is a small series of physics (NOT chemistry ) themed cupcakes created by a young baker to celebrate their last day of high school physics class . Me? I skipped school and went to the bong store, then drank Mad Dog 20/20’s in a public park with a couple of my bros from show choir. So yeah, physics themed cupcakes — there’s only one thing better: an entire physics themed CAKE cake. Get it? Because it’s so much bigger . And bigger always = better when you’re as fat as I am. Hit the jump for a closeup of the black-hole one. “I’m going to eat you now, planets!” “Oh no, please don’t eat us!” “TOO BAD, GOBBLE GOBBLE!”

It’s not like anybody who’s ever blind taste-tested them alongside Crayolas would need any more evidence, but here’s a photo that helps explain why off-brand crayons suck so bad. Apparently they’re made with…I dunno, people ? Yeah, plus they make me color outside the lines! “No they don’t GW, you just have zero hand-eye coordination.” OMG — ONE MORE WORD AND YOU’RE GONNA GET IT! “Bring it, Captain Uncoordinated!” OH THAT’S IT! *lays myself out with an uppercut* Scientific Proof That Rose Art Crayons Suck [buzzfeed] Thanks to Your Father, who apparently reads Geekologie. OMG — you guys should totally talk about me at the dinner table! “So, how about that Geekologie Writer today?” “Total wanker.” “Agreed, pass the Jell-O salad.”

Unfortunately the couch feels a lot like the floor and I spilled six beers in a row trying to set them on the coffee table . Did I mention the television only gets The Blinding Channel? It’s my favorite. the london-based art and design practice united visual artist recently presented a series of light installation titled ’speed of light’. the project was commissioned by virgin media to commemorate the tenth anniversary of broadband in the UK. the project was installed in the victorian bargehouse on london’s south bank and made use of 148 lasers spread across six rooms. UVA used the beam of light that travels along optical fibers as the starting point for the piece. among the pieces created, UVA crafted a small sitting area that features a sofa, table and television screen made completely from laser beams. Lasers: I love them. In the future scientists will discover how to trap plasma between bands of lasers and pew pew couches will finally become reality. And on that day, oh boy, on that day . I’ll have been dead for at least 200 years. Hit the jump for a couple more shots of the exhibit.

Aside from Geekologie and The International Jurassic Park Erotic Fan-Fiction Writer’s Association , Lazertits might very well be the best site to ever hit the web — and my retinas . HAPPY EYES! For centuries the female bosom has been wrongfully held in the prison of maternal duty and frat boy motor-boating. The time has come to blow the cell doors open for breasts! Howl for hooters! Terrorize for tits! Bomb for boobs! LAZERTITS looks into the past and changes the future one broad at a time. What will YOU say when your kids ask where you were during the revolution? Don’t burn your bra, BLAST IT!!! The site consists entirely of women, with, you guessed it, PEW BOOBS. Unfortunately, because of all the awesomeness the site is probably regarded as NSFW . Actually, it definitely is — I just spotted a woman with a nonfunctional laser vaj on page two. MEDIC! NSFW NSFW Lazertits NSFW NSFW Thanks to Lea C, who is a woman and thus makes my posting this entirely okay. Some would argue even noble.
