This a shot of an actual Christmas tree taken by x-ray photographer Nick Veasey. Let’s see here…a pair of shoes, a watch, booze, a wrench set, a camera, perfume and a smartphone. Not a bad haul! Me? I’m hoping for a bunch of airplane bottles and lotto scratchers. You know, that classy shit. Let me down and die, fat man! Hi the jump in case you ever wondered what an x-ray of a present containing high heels looks like. I know I was curious.

Because LEGO and Christmas go together like stirring peas & corn into instant mashed potatoes (aka shitter’s pie), a 33-ft LEGO Christmas tree was erected in London’s St Pancras (the patron saint of internal organs) station. And this is it. It’s tall and plastic. Me? I’m short and fleshy . Kidding, I’m tall and as handsome as a penis wearing a bow-tie. “And tuxedo?” Okay now you’re just being ridiculous. Hit the jump for a ton more pictures, at least one of which features an annoyed looking girl on a cell phone. It’s like a really shitty Where’s Waldo!

? Todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay is the greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatest daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay I’ve ever knoooooooooooooooooooooown ? See what I did there? It f***ing sucked, I know. This is a video of a bunch of pumpkins being smashed shot at 1,000 FPS set to some creepy-ass music. It’s Halloween weekend, so I thought it would be appropriate . Also: making a lot of fake blood , getting drunk, then passing out in it on the kitchen floor to scare my roommate when he got home. Long story short I got way too drunk, was unresponsive, he freaked out, called the police, they came, woke me up with smelling salts and busted me for weed. So yeah, Halloween’s off to a great start. For everyone celebrating this weekend INSTEAD OF ON ACTUAL HALLOWEEN, have fun, be safe, rot your teeth out with candy and I hope you all go home with the Harley Quinn of your dreams/ Ninja Turtle of your fantasies . I should be around in between witch’s brews so I might throw a couple posts up. Ooooooor just a bunch of mini candy bars (probably Snickers & Kit-Kats). Hit the jump for the damn I need that song on my iTunes.

Why so serious, Luke? Geekologie Reader Dave made these paper snowflakes (Boba Fett & clone trooper version after the jump) with his children to use as Christmas decorations . You can make some yourself if you’d like — you don’t even need kids! But you will need scissors , so don’t run with them. Kidding — I say live a little! Hit the jump for the Boba/clone trooper flake.

This is an old-ass clip from 1978 of a Star Wars themed holiday special (Wookie family at 5:00!). But, since there’s no Jesus in the Star Wars universe, they celebrate ‘Life Day’, which, at least from what I could tell, is a present -less holiday that makes children sad. Here is a segment from the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special featuring Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia singing an ode to “Life Day” - the Star Wars Universe’s answer to Christmas. Wow Leia, that was pretty awful. And, correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t you supposed to be wearing a golden bikini on Life Day? Oh, hold on — The Force is talking to me. Topless, The Force says topless. The Star Wars Holiday Special - “Happy Life Day” (1978) [fuzzymemories] Thanks to b00geyman, who doesn’t so much deliver presents as hide under your bed and try to cut your Achilles tendon if you ever get up to pee.

From Teefury comes ‘Hothmas’ a seasonal t-shirt feauring an AT-AT Rudolph getting wrapped up by a T-47 airspeeder. Teefury , like shirt.woot, features a different shirt every day. Except, unlike shirt.woot, Teefury’s designs are gone forever after 24 hours with no chance of revival on the site (shirt.woot’s ‘Zombie Vampire Robots from Space’ design featured two weeks now available again HERE for $15). $9 plus $2 shipping takes the shirt until midnight eastern, when I’ll turn into a pumpkin awesome dragon. Teefury (will be a different shirt every day)
