Good Friday? Make it a GREAT Friday and watch videos all day on the clock. This is a Mega Man X fan film shot by director Olan Rogers for $700. That’s pretty cheap. Granted not as cheap as my roommate, but he mixes water into the milk carton to make it last longer. It’s like, skim skim. This isn’t a perfect video I understand this, this is all independently made I didn’t have a lot of money but I decided to do it anyway I had 700 dollars, two green sheets, an amazing prop maker, two actors who worked for free because I didn’t have enough money to pay them, they still gave 110% and one awesome friend who busted his butt on the animation side. Thank you for taking the time to watch and for your support. I HOPE!!!! I did this game justice! I dunno Olan, for $700 it looks pretty damn good to me. I’ve paid bar tabs more than that before, and what do I have to show for it? “The memories of a night in jail?” Exactamundo . Speaking of which — I need to call my parole officer and tell him I’m going to Vegas this weekend AND MIGHT NOT BE COMING BACK. Hit the jump for the worthwhile video.

This is a video of a guy who got arrested for public intoxication in Canada (they do that there?) and belts out the entirety of Queen’s ‘ Bohemian Rhapsody ‘ in the back of the cop car on the way to the drunk tank. I was impressed . Of course I was also impressed the toaster didn’t burn my Pop Tart this morning, so I guess these things are relative. Hit the jump for the you’re no Freddie Mercury.

You’re going to have to excuse me if nothing makes sense for the rest of the day because I just chugged a bottle of champagne in celebration and now things are getting…spinny. I just tried going to the bathroom and wound up tearing a towel bar off the wall. It’s gonna be a great day. This is a series of alphabets from artist Mike BaBoon (not to be confused with Mike Baboon , who throws feces as zoo visitors) with the letters represented by characters whose names start with them. This is a Harry Potter version here, but hit the jump for Dr. Seuss, Sesame Street, Simpsons, Pixar, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Muppets ones. Mike also sells prints of them all in his Society6 store in case you want to get one for your kid’s room. Shit, or your own room — I’m not here to judge, I’M HERE TO TEACH YOU HOW TO READ. Now, what’s this letter? “L?” I tricked you, that’s a 7. Hit the jump for the rest as well as links to Mike’s Society6 store and website where you can find answers to them all.

This is Horror Vacui , a series of photographs by Federico Chiesa depicting horror movie creepers (plus Darth Vader ) in their old age. They…look a lot less terrifying . Except the twins from The Shining — they’re even worse. Man, remember the first time you saw that movie and SPOILER: there was that naked lady with the bush stepping out of the bathtub ( NSFW Youtube clip HERE ) and in the beginning you were all, “Yes please!” and then she turns into like a zombie and you were, “Aaaaah, no more boners!” Turns out that was a metaphor for adulthood. Hit the jump for the rest.

I know the screencap looks fake as shit, but that’s only because it was shot on some Cold War era Russian video camera — the flying DeLorean is actually real . Basically some clever Ruskies made an R/C quadrocopter and added a foam DeLorean body and some light effects and PRESTO — the time machine from Back To The Future II. Sure the production value of the video is pretty low, but it’s still worth watching. Not unlike — wait for it — The Blair Witch Project . “That movie sucked.” Ahahahhahaha, I puked in the theater. Hit the jump for the high-flying, time-traveling action.

Animator Michael Habjan had a dream. A dream of seeing Superman battle The Hulk . So what did he do? What any normal person would, not write it down and then forget about it by mid-morning animate that shit himself! And this is it! Me? I only have dreams about people trying to kill me and having to kill them first before they do. They….are eerily realistic. “You killed a neighbor sleepwalking, didn’t you?” HE HAD SNAKES FOR ARMS. Hit the jump for the superhero on superhero action.

Geekologie Reader (and half of DJ duo Skitzophonics) Stefan went and built this custom stage for when he and his bro Flip (the other half of Skitzophonics) perform. It lights up to the fresh beats they drop and mesmerizes audiences with f***ing rainbows and fades and all kinda shit that would make you puke your face off with happiness if you ever saw it live. Presenting: The Paranormal Unicorn Stage An audio-visual delicacy, the Paranormal Unicorn is a DJ stage custom made only for the juiciest of parties. Together with the DJ duo Skitzophonics, hundreds of hours of sweat, blood and alcohol were spent creating this sexy piece of eye candy. Guys — I want you to come play my next birthday party. And I’m not just saying that because nobody showed up last year and I’m hoping the music & light-show will draw a crowd, but it’s worth a shot. Jesus — anything’s better than crying into an ice cream cake alone again. “Hey, at least you had an ice cream cake.” *crying* I lied about the cake, okay?! It was a PB & J.
Hit the jump for a video of the stage doing its thing.

Because what good is a lunch that doesn’t make you lose your appetite, here’s an Evil Dead themed bento box of the undead granny from under the stairs in the movie . Those teeth, my God — I just wanna lick ‘em with my tongue. “You’re sick.” Am I? Or just the foodiest foodie you ever met?! “No, I actually think you’re sick.” * squishing butter between my teeth like Jell-O* Evil Dead Bento Box is Sushi Done Horrifically Right [obviouswinner] Thanks to Terry-re, who once cracked open a bloody egg but still ate it and then wished the rest of the dozen were like that too. I…am gonna go puke now.

Did you read the title? Because that’s what this is . They say a picture’s worth a thousand words , but man, I think I really f***in’ nailed it with that title. With over 4,000 individual pictures, Kyle Roberts and crew wanted to recreate the nostalgic 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon introduction in stop motion. Artist, Nathan Poppe, created over 60 hand-drawn images to establish a bright and vibrant backdrop to complement Roberts’ use of action figures. Sponsored by the Toy and Action Figure Museum, curator Kevin Stark designed many of the pieces in the original 1990 TMNT toy line. Damn, I used to love me some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cartoons on a Saturday morning. Also: pounding bowl after bowl of sugary cereal until my mom would have to lock me in a closet to calm down. Fun fact: I tunneled out with my teeth . Just like Master Splinter would have! Hit the jump for the worthwhile Friday time-waster.

This is a video of identical twins Camille and Kennerly both cosplaying as Zelda and playing a duet of Skyward Sword’s ‘Ballad of the Goddess’ on harps . It’s pretty to listen to. The kind of music I wish were playing every morning as I wake up. But nooooooooo, instead it’s my roommate stomping around to loud as f*** dub-step. I have every intention of killing him before our lease is up and I don’t care if you think that counts as premeditated murder because guess what? Now you’re all accomplices . Hit the jump for a video of the great choice of location. Also, check out the rest of their videos for a ton of other duet harp covers.
