This is the entire script for the original Star Wars (aka “the first one”, aka “A New Hope”) colored to resemble Darth Vader’s evil (but still very handsome) visage (in a similar style to this Godfather version ). It was created by Geekologie reader David Johns, easily placing him in the top 10% of Geekologie Readers in terms of productivity . Well? Are YOU a 10%’er? SPOILER : Absolutely not — don’t even kid yourself. Note: I was going to host the better-than-desktop-background ultra high-res version but decided to let David’s server do all the heavy lifting (No need to thank me, Dave). Hit the link below to grab it. David’s Website Thanks David, now how about one made out of Geekologie articles with a picture of me bein’ all sensual seductive? I smell a 2011 calendar idea!

Alternatively, “Luke, I am your fonter.” God I hate myself for that . And, well, pretty much everything else I’ve ever done. Anyway, because some Geekologie Readers have to go home and give themselves glitterstim enemas if I don’t meet their daily quota of Star Wars posts, here’s a small gallery (read: three pictures) of characters created entirely out of different fonts by Italian ad firm H-57 Creative Station. This is Darth Maul or somebody here, but there’s a Cylon and a Fraggle after the jump. Huh? ARE YOU QUESTIONING MY GEEK CREDENTIALS?! Fine — fine, this is Darth Vader , and there’s a Stormtrooper and Yoda after the jump. What isn’t after the jump is the X-Wingding Fighter I just spent two hours making in Photoshop. I’ll email you a copy for $1 though. Ass Xerox for $2. Hit the jump for the other two.

Want a movie-worn Darth Vader costume? Start digging through the couch cushions for spare change! Then rob a bank . Then rob a jewelry store. Then rob another bank. An exceptionally rare Darth Vader costume comes up for sale next month and is expected to fetch as much as 230,000 pounds ($365,000), auctioneer Christie’s said on Wednesday. The main components of the 1980 costume, including the helmet and mask, are considered to have been production-made for “The Empire Strikes Back,” the second of the “Star Wars” series to be released, Christie’s added. “While there are limited public records of the costumes produced and used for the first Star Wars trilogy, the helmet, mask and shoulder armor from the present example have a provenance leading back to the film studios around the time of production,” Christie’s said. Pfft, they can’t even prove it’s authentic! You don’t see me trying to sell the t-shirt off my back as a movie-worn ‘Back To The Future II’ costume do you? *posting shirt on eBay* Haha, well you didn’t actually see me do it. Oh, and for the record: I’m not just nay-saying to keep the auction’s price down so I can swoop in and buy it, because I’m not. Shit, I don’t even have two nickels to rub together! Which is a shame because I am lost in the woods and I’m pretty sure that’s how you start a fire. Rare Darth Vader costume up for auction [yahoo] Thanks to Fally and Christine, who agree his gloves look suspiciously like oven mitts.

Because geeks like arguing about things to show off their intellectual superiority (think nerdy peacocks), here’s a visual guide to lightsabers so you can prove you’re right when arguing with a fellow Star Warser at the bar over a cold Mountain Dew . That’s cool and all, but you want to know how to instantly win any lightsaber argument at the bar? Shatter a f***ing stool over your friend’s head. BOOM! Not only did you just win the fight, you sent your friend to the hospital where he’ll have plenty of time to contemplate the error of his ways. You know, or plot revenge.* *Geekologie not responsible for your murder. Lightsaber Chart Will Spark Endless Fights Over Who Bagsies Which ‘Saber [gizmodo]

For those of you not familiar with the WWF, it’s all fake. It’s basically two musclebound douchebags dancing around in choreographed homoeroticdom. Don’t get me wrong, I still love it, it’s just not real like all the mullets want to believe. the World Wide Fund For Nature focuses on issues regarding conservation, research and restoration of the environment. And they encourage everyone to turn off their non-essential lights for Earth Hour on March 27th from 8:30 to 9:30PM to raise awareness for climate change. Which, whether you even believe in climate change or not, you’ve got to admit I am gonna go to the beach tomorrow. Youtube Thanks to naas, who’s keeping his lights out for the entire month because he can’t pay the electric bill.

Apparently these costumes have been around for a while now but I didn’t know because I don’t have any business shopping for Darth Vader baby get-ups (I just sign the child support checks). But Geekologie Reader Tengku Edzuan decided to take a different approach to child rearing and bought this costume for his son. That’s him there. Cute, huh? BUT DON’T EVEN THINK FOR A SECOND HE’S NOT ALL DARK SITH LORD , because he 100% is. I heard one time he caught a stuffed animal eying his binky and Force choke-slammed that sucker into a pile of alphabet blocks. Brutal! Barf Vader [edzuantengku] and Product Site
