This is a picture of Cartman spotted IRL in Chicago. Apparently brobro dresses up like him on purpose, and is a good sport about posing with people and letting them take pictures. The person that took this one? They opted for the ol’ “pretend to be texting” move just to be safe. GOOD ONE, SISSY. Hit the jump for one more way less candid shot.

This is a group of ladyfriends cosplaying as various internet browsers . As you can see, each one is pretty much the perfect personification of their particular browser. “Internet Explorer looks cross-eyed.” Right, like I said. No Wonder Internet Explorer Girl Looks So Depressed [fashionablygeek] Thanks to MLA, who can browse my intra webs anyday. I don’t even know what that means but I’ll let you do it.

Halt citizen — you do not want pictures of her. That is a man in a pink wig. Because conventions are expensive enough to attend, sometimes you don’t have any money left over for a costume . Aaaaaaaaand this is what happens — you wind up wearing your PJ’s and some yellow ribbon. Listen — when packing tape is the most expensive part of your costume it is time to reevaluate your life as a cosplayer. Kidding, this guy probably wound up going home with catwoman. “The girl wearing a trashbag with two spoons taped to her head?” Yep — they’re gonna have babies together! “You mean kittens?” Iron kitties. The Best Piece of Crap Iron Man Cosplay Suit Ever Created [obviouswinner] Thanks to bb and Terry, who’ve both been cosplaying as my friends. Wait — you guys aren’t for real?!

This is a video of a guy showing off his homemade Diablo III costume in what can only be described as his grandmother’s guest bedroom. I’m diggin’ the bare lightbulb, bro. Obviously, the costume still needs some work. Namely, in the crotch region. Sure Diablo III isn’t even out yet, but I get the feeling the demons won’t be wearing acid-wash jeans. Regardless, it still amazes me how people can create such intricate costumes but can’t decorate a room to save their lives. I dunno, paint a mural of hell or something — anything but that wallpaper, shit! Hit the jump for the video.

This is a short video of Chubbs the pug dressed up in her homemade wampa costume. It’s worth watching for the first five seconds alone because SHE IS COMING TO ATTACK! The remaining 30-seconds are pretty much just her showing her ass to the camera LIKE MOST DOG VIDEOS. *ahem* Chloe! No laughing Einstein, you do the same thing except worse because you’ve got that little nubbin tail and your butthole actually shows. Shhhhhhh! It’s staring at me. Hit the jump for the the happiest Hoth monster you ever did see.

Remember that real quality cosplay video from DragonCon ? Well this is the extended cut from the same videographers. Like, the 23-minute extended cut. There are so many cosplaying characters in this video if you got them all together you could hold a convention, easy. Hit the jump and watch it now. “I can’t, I have work to do!” You hate it, it can wait. If your boss catches you tell him you’re boosting morale to improve personal productivity. If he doesn’t buy it just say, “I saw you and the secretary”, and raise your eyebrows.

The stormtrooper you were looking for ? “No.” Oh. Buy me a pair of furry ears? Cosplay Corner [geeks.thedailywh.at] Thanks to Mark, who once bodypainted himself as C-3PO. Soooooooo…that wasn’t a loose transistor is what you’re telling me.

Sorry for the slow posting today folks, I’m in the middle of a doctor’s appointment extravaganza and currently in the basement of a top secret government medical testing facility and can only connect to a Wi-Fi signal if I’m standing on back of a commode holding my laptop over my head. I’m pretty sure the guy in the stall next to me thinks I’m trying to webcam his deuce-dropping action. Which, for the record, I am not. Well, not anymore anyways. That thing sounded brute! This is a well-shot video roundup of the cosplayers of Dragon-Con . Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to find an unattended x-ray machine and blast myself to superhero status. Hit the jump for the worthwhile video.

Don’t get me wrong, I love some painstakingly realistic character cosplay , but the clever costumes — they’re the ones that really get me. Spotted by Agent M at Fan Expo Canada, this is a dude dressed as the XBox 360 version of Call of Doodles: Black Ops . Obviously, he nailed me. It. He nailed IT. This is a shot from the recent Otakon of Krystal Belcher in her custom-painted pixelated Samus Aran costume taken by deviantARTist chozoboy . It is most clever. “I could do better.” No, you couldn’t. You could say that having never done it before but then if you actually tried you’d realize just how inept you are at cutting cardboard and painting different colored squares and have to give up to go troll the internet some more. “Jesus GW, it’s like you’re in my head!” Head, or stomach? Get it? Because I hid a scab in your Subway sub in the breakroom fridge. “That wasn’t my sub.” Oh good, because I actually just ate it. “SONOFA!” Haha, I knew it was yours. Hit the jump of several other shots.
