Superman Renounces His U.S. Citizenship

In what can only be viewed as a blatant act of terrorism, Superman is renouncing his U.S. citizenship , citing ” America’s obesity problem he’s tired of being construed as an instrument of US policy.” You know what? Fine — but you better change your color scheme BECAUSE THESE COLORS DON’T RUN, CLARK… … … …KENT. CLARK KENT — THAT’S HIS REAL NAME! “Superman is a visitor from a distant planet who has long embraced American values. As a character and an icon, he embodies the best of the American Way,” DC’s co-publishers, Jim Lee and Dan DiDio said in a statement to FOX411.com. “In a short story in ACTION COMICS 900, Superman announces his intention to put a global focus on his never ending battle, but he remains, as always, committed to his adopted home and his roots as a Kansas farm boy from Smallville.” The landmark issue is certainly sparking controversy. “Besides being riddled with a blatant lack of patriotism, and respect for our country, Superman’s current creators are belittling the United States as a whole. By denouncing his citizenship, Superman becomes an eerie metaphor for the current economic and power status the country holds worldwide,” Hollywood publicist and GOP activist Angie Meyer told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column. First of all, WTF is a Pop Tarts column and can I eat it cold? Secondly, holy shit people are arguing over comic book characters . You’ll have to excuse me if I don’t get involved, it’s just that I’ve got other things to worry about. Namely, an erection lasting longer than four hours . I know the commercial says call your doctor, but what that’s just a ploy to kidnap me for biological experiments?! “Who knows — maybe you’ll wind up with a superpower…” … … …Hello, Dr. Shirling?! I’ve had a boner for 48-hours straight and I want to read minds! Superman Renounces U.S. Citizenship in Latest Action Comic [theblaze] and Superman Renounces His U.S. Citizenship in 900th Issue of Action Comics [foxnews] Thanks to Chris and Julian M., who both have dual-citizenships, and personalities . Ya’ll crazy!

Mashup!: Futurama Characters As X-Mens

Note: This pic is small and doesn’t do the piece justice so to see the whole thing click CHEER . Oh shit, oh shit — spirit fingers! DeviantARTist gottabecarl went and mashed the Futurama and X-Men universes together. This is what he got. Oh really — then what about the superpowers you’re not telling us about?! ARE YOU X-RAY VISIONIN’ MY NIPPLES RIGHT NOW?! You wanna? A friend of mine suggested one day that it would be cool to see the characters of Futurama as X-Men and so I drew him Fry as Cyclops. For some reason I couldn’t just stop there…and what came of it was a pretty extensive illustration with some of the most obscure characters from both the X-Men and Futurama universes. Great job, Carl. It’s times like these I wish God would have given me some sort of artistic talent. But alas, all I got was a face that could make Adonis cry and a wiener that NASA wants to use as a ladder to the moon. Still, I wish I could draw. Carl’s deviantART Thanks to Martin, who once mashed Batman and Robin together and got, well, Batman and Robin rubbing twinkies.

Archie Is Set To Marry….Veronica (Black Hair)

Archie, after like a million years of trying to bone both Veronica and Betty , is committing himself to one woman, Veronica. *sniff* Don’t do it bro, don’t do it. Why buy the cow when you can do everything on the farm , know what I’m saying? I’m talking goats AND chickens here, bro. In what’s being billed the “Archie Story of the Century,” perennially indecisive loverboy Archie Andrews has finally chosen the raven-haired Veronica Lodge over sunny girl-next-door Betty Cooper, according to the official Archie Comics website. “Could it be true? Has Archie finally decided to take the plunge and propose to comics’ favourite rich girl? It sure looks that way!” read a note posted online Wednesday. Sure it looks that way, but nothing is what it seems…IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE *dum dum dum — doot doot dum dum dum dum dum!* . The whole fiasco will be spread out over six comics (issues # 600-605) and culminate in Veronica catching Archie and Betty together (in a sexually suggestive situation) the night before their wedding and then locking the two in a hotel room and burning the building to the ground. The last panel will be Veronica giving Jughead a little hand action in the car while a fire engine races past. Archie shocker: Comic book hero picks Veronica [cbanews] Thanks to spiderkitten, who totally agrees I’d make a great comic book writer.
